If you’re in town on Wednesday lunchtimes, why not take a little detour and head to the stunning Peterborough Cathedral for 45 minutes of harmonic music.
Starting at 1pm from Wednesday July 15, you can enjoy an array of free performances by distinguished professional musicians throughout the summer starting with James Bowman, countertenor, and Andrew Plant, piano.
Some of the music events will take place outdoors in the beautiful grounds of the cathedral and starting this alfresco musical journey on Wednesday July 22 will be a tribute to Peterborough-born jazz club owner Peter Boizot and his contribution to the British jazz scene.
All performances are free.
More details can be found on the cathedral’s website at: www.peterborough-cathedral.org.uk or call 01733 355315.
