Have you fluffed up, frizzed, plaited, parted, cut, coloured or crimped your locks yet for Febru-hairy? Or waxed, or worn a wig? Any hair related fundraising this month could raise thousands for Thorpe Hall’s 60th Anniversary Appeal.
Once again, Sue Ryder – Thorpe Hall Hospice is asking you to fire up your imagination and fundraise around the theme of hair by putting the fun back into fundraising.
Febru-Hairy has raised thousands of pounds for Thorpe Hall Hospice over the past few years. Wearing a wig, shaving your head, leg waxing or beard and moustache growing are some of the ways people have raised money from sponsorships.
People can take part during the whole month of February.
Sue Ryder fundraiser Jackie Page told ESP – “This is something anyone can get involved with. Do it with your work colleagues, school friends, at the local pub or on your own.
“You can do anything – cut it, colour it (like Nick Porter pictured), grow it, wax it, curl it, fake it – the wackier the better.”
