ENCORE SHOW OF MONTY PYTHON LIVE (MOSTLY) ANNOUNCED!

Following an unprecedented demand, the Key Theatre’s live screening of Monty Python sold out in 72 hours. Due to this sell out, an encore performance will take place on Saturday August 2 from 7pm.

An encore performance gives customers an opportunity to see what they missed out on the first time the live screening was held. This is a great chance to be part of history as the Monty Python team perform for the last time.

The 10 show run at the O2, some of which sold out within a minute, will be the final ever live performances from the Monty Python team with the Sunday performance being playfully dubbed, ‘The last night of the Pythons’.

A statement from the Pythons said: “Thanks to the wonderful invention of moving pictures, The Last Night of Monty Python is coming to a cinema near you. Get your knotted handkerchiefs out and warm your brains one last time at any one of 450 cinemas across the UK, and 1,500 across the world. Join the crowd live from London’s O2 in a final weepy, hilarious, uproarious, outrageous farewell to the five remaining Pythons as they head for The Old Jokes Home … on the big screen, in HD.”

Stephen Chalmers from the Key Theatre said: “Following a sell-out over one weekend, we are pleased to be able to give everyone a second opportunity to see the Monty Python team before their final farewells. Many people were disappointed to miss out on the live screening but this is the next best thing.”
