The big Christmas lights switch on at Springfields Outlet Shopping will be on Thursday October 26 with special guest John Thomson from the TV series Cold Feet doing the honours.
It’s always a great evening and will be extra special this year with ESP’s favourite classical singers from Peterborough, the lovely twins from The Voice – Classical Reflection – as well as St Paul’s Community Primary School Choir all performing some festive tunes.
Kev & Roz from Heart FM will be hosting all the fun and entertainment on stage too.
That’s all followed by the centre’s huge firework spectacular on Thursday November 2. The theme for this year’s lights and fireworks display is based on the songs from the big screen and stage.
The gates will open at 6pm with the fireworks scheduled to begin at 8pm. Early Bird tickets are priced at £6 for adults and £4 for children and each ticket bought prior to the event will be automatically entered into a prize draw with the chance to win £1000 of goodies! Tickets for the fireworks will be on sale on the day for the slightly higher cost of £8 for adults and £5 for children.

As the Christmas build up begins, late night shopping starts on Wednesday November 15 with shops open weekdays through until 9pm giving you plenty of time to get all your Christmas shopping sorted.
Finally, the Christmas Grotto opens from November 25 right through until Christmas Eve. The cost this year will be £7 per child and everyone will receive a present from Father Christmas. For opening hours check their website.
