One of the annual events that really captures the Christmas spirit is the ever-popular Lights of Love event at Thorpe Hall in Peterborough.
This year’s carol concert, taking place on Sunday December 11 will focus on giving guests the opportunity to remember, reflect and celebrate the lives of people close to them.
Thorpe Hall’s Lights of Love trees, decked out with handwritten messages of love, remembrance and inspiration will once again be the touching centrepiece.
There’s always a great atmosphere at this event and you can enjoy carols performed by the Peterborough Concert Band and Hereward Harmony Barbershop Chorus will be providing entertainment with festive songs.
While the carol concert will take place outside, with the mansion house as the backdrop, Thorpe Hall’s Coffee Shop will be open for festive warming snacks.
It all starts at 6pm in the grounds of Thorpe Hall Hospice, in Longthorpe, Peterborough and finishes at 7.15pm. Entrance is free.
