The festivities will be kicked off with mulled wine and mince pies, and there’ll be a range of crafty how-tos, decorating tips and demonstrations on offer throughout the night.

For the first time, Dobbies has extended its National Christmas Charity Partnership for one more year following a vote, and will again be raising money for Teenage Cancer Trust.

Last year was its most successful charity partnership to date, raising £171,150 over the 3 month period and receiving a fantastic response from customers.

Teenage Cancer Trust makes sure the seven young people aged 13 to 24 diagnosed with cancer every day, don’t face it alone. christmas-preview-night-at-dobbies-3

They provide world-class cancer care and support in specialist units, local hospitals and in homes across the UK. The charity is there at every stage, from diagnosis through treatment and after treatment and they bring young people together so they can support each other.

Alex Macdonald, Community Connector at Dobbies comments: “We are delighted to be partnering with Teenage Cancer Trust for a second year.

“The charity does fantastic work in the support they offer to young people and their families, and our customers really got behind the cause last year.

“We have lots of exciting things planned to kick off this year’s partnership at our Christmas Preview Night and hopefully we’ll raise lots of money.”

The event will run from 5pm to 9pm and tickets are available to purchase in-store in advance or on the night.

Tickets cost £1 and all proceeds will go to Teenage Cancer Trust.
