Serpentine Green is looking for amateur models to take part in an Autumn fashion show.

The shopping centre will be holding two model search days to find men, women and children to model collections from their retailers at a show on Saturday October 6. Anyone interested in strutting their stuff on the catwalk can turn up on Thursday August 16 and Friday August 17 from 10am to 1pm and 2pm to 4pm to have a chat with Young Lives who are organising the show.

Miss Congeniality UK, 18-year-old Delia Rose Phillips (pictured), will be working with Young Lives to spot potential models at the centre.

Serpentine Green is working with youth charity Young Lives to put on a fashion show with a difference – the project will be led by young people.

Young Lives’ Get Creative team will create the show with teenagers from Hampton and Peterborough. The £3,300 funding for the project has come from Serpentine Green’s joint owner British Land.

Chantelle Watson, Serpentine Green deputy manager, told ESP – “We’ve got some good looking, stylish shoppers at Serpentine Green so I know the Young Lives team will have no problem finding models for the show.”

Any young person who would like to get involved with the project can email the project co-ordinator Emma Robson at Young Lives at emma@young-lives.org.uk.
