It’ll soon be D-Day for Peterborough students receiving their dreaded exam results but help is at hand.
Hundreds of students in Peterborough and the surrounding areas will soon be getting their exam results and many will be celebrating a string of good grades. However, others may be disappointed, having not got the grades that they were hoping for. But whatever your results, Peterborough Regional College are there to help.
The college will be holding Results Days throughout August, where specialist staff will be on hand to offer advice and guidance about the next steps learners can take after receiving their exams results. These sessions are open to all students, whether they wish to check their application at the college, or if they need help deciding what step to take next.
Careers advisor at the college Jennie Grove told ESP – “There are so many opportunities for young people, and some students can be overwhelmed by this. Many put off making a decision about their future until they get their exam results. Whatever their results, there will be something to suit them and coming to speak to someone at college, even if they haven’t already applied, will help them to understand their choices.”
The Results Days will be held on Thursday August 16 and Friday August 17 from 10am to 4pm at University Centre Peterborough, and Thursday August 23 and Friday August 24 from 10am to 4pm in the Main Hall at the college’s Park Crescent campus.
University Centre Peterborough are extending their opening hours to 8am – 8pm for the Thursday August 16 and Friday August 17 along with weekend opening hours to help students going through the clearing process for university applications.
It’s not too late to apply to join a full-time course starting this September!
