The fabulous new Holiday On Ice show Tropicana – The Passion Tour opens at the EXEC Peterborough tonight at the the East of England Showground.
Popular Dancing On Ice skater Colin Ratushniak has joined the cast of this new ice spectacular directed by the ITV show’s judge, Robin Cousins, which has eight shows running until Sunday February 5.
We rarely get a show of this quality right on our doorstep and the EXEC centre has been transformed into a temporary skating rink for the show which features 40 top ice skaters and is set to bring a little party spirit to the city. Featuring music from Barry Manilow we’re sure it’lll have the ‘wow’ factor and ESP will review the show after tonight’s gala performance in aid of local charity Anna’s Hope so look out for the lowdown.
As well as Colin Ratushniak making an apparance two local girls have been given the chance to take part. Bourne youngsters, Evie Martin-Cuthbertson (7) of Holloway Avenue, Bourne and Eleanor Waldock (9) of Elizabeth Way, Thurlby were the official winners of Holiday on Ice ‘Ice Factor’ competition. Their prize is to perform their own choreographed routine on the opening night at Peterborough in front of thousands!
We can’t wait to see it – the show’s been getting rave reviews and was even featured on ITV’s This Morning Programme http://www.itv.com/thismorning/showbiz/when-alison-met-barry-manilow/
There are some amazing costumes, and spectacular routines backed by a huge LED screen and special effetcs. The last two shows they’ve brought to the city have been stunning so we have high expectations for Tropicana!
