WEEKENDS WITH SOUL

Get some soul into your weekend plans down at the Beehive pub at Rivergate.

The Soul Weekenders are becoming a well established way to chill out after the working week – and the ideal way to prepare you for the next!

The events are held on the last weekend of the month so get these dates in your diary and make the Beehive the place to be.

On Saturday February 25 Steve Allen, Rob Jones and Jules take to the decks with 60s soul, Motown, Mod and rhythm an blues from 10pm onwards.

It’s then time to chill out with some jazz funk and soul and take it easy on Sunday February 26 with Steve Allen, Ian Pass, Malc James and guest DJs Ray Mahoney and Paul Andrews.

The Beehive of couse is run by the team behind Jim’s Yard restaurant so there’s always some fabulous food on offer throughout!

Steve told ESP – “The venue is getting a great name for a combination of good food, a great wine list, real ales, and top soul music! We’re getting excellent attendances for the monthly music sessions. It’s a real grown up night out.”

The enxt sessions will be on Saturday March 24 and Sunday March 25.
