THOMAS’ BIG WEEKEND

Thomas’s next special event is his Big Weekend on July 31 &. August 1 when it’s a very busy one for the children’s’ favourite engine who’ll be hauling trains on the branch line from Wansford through the haunted tunnel down to Yarwell Junction, helped by one or more of his friends.

He’ll be assisted by a number of other engines, most sporting special faces for the weekend as well as a chance to meet Thomas’s driver and fireman.

Trains start from 10.30am with a frequent service throughout the day until 4.20pm

There will also be a fete in the field adjacent to the station with roundabouts, games, tractor rides with Fergie the tractor and a chance to meet Reggie the Routemaster.

Ample free parking, cafeteria, gift shop, museum coach, second-hand book shop and children’s play area will all be open.

THERE IS NO NEED TO BOOK FOR THOMAS’ BIG WEEKEND – JUST TURN UP AT WANSFORD ON THE DAY!
