The guys over at The Westwood hotel on Mayors Walk return for 2010 with their acoustic jam nights and a cracking finale to their NSPCC fundraising events this month.
They’ve been holding regular auctions and raffles as part of their music nights and now tell us they have the original 24ct gold disc by Columbia Records of Ferry Cross The Mersey by Jerry and the Pace Makers!
This fabulous, highly collectable disc was donated to the charity group by Stewart Burns tenant of many pubs for the acclaimed brewery, Admiral Taverns. Stewart has seen the change in the pub recently and wanted to donate to the cause to boost the fund raising. What a star!
The guys are looking at the best way to raise the most money from this fantastic prize and plan to hand over all the money they’ve raised so far to the NSPCC on January 27. That will be one great night not to miss!
