SOLDIERS DO BATTLE IN DEEPING

Deepings Carnival will be extra special this year as 250 American Civil War Soldiers do battle at the event on July 4.

The soldiers will also set up an authentic living history camp on (ACWS.com) so you can see how they lived and fought.

The Lions Club who organise the Deepings Carnival have pulled out all the stops to make this the biggest and best yet. The good news is it’s free entry too so head to John Eve Park, Godsey Lane, Market Deeping where there’ll also be a fun fair, stalls and rides.

It all starts 10am with a procession through the town lead by 60 Fife and Drum corps to kick it all off.
