RENT @ THE KEY

Based on Puccini’s La Boheme, Rent is a much-loved musical about a group of impoverished young artists and musicians struggling to live and work in New York’s Lower East Side.

The great Key Youth Theatre team will be bringing it to the Key on August 25 – 28. Parodied in the opening scenes of Team America, Rent has been a massive success across the world due to its powerful portrayals of love and death – with little theatrical glitz, the storyline is dramatic and gritty, complimented by moving, sensational music, possibly musical theatre’s answer to the cult movie Trainspotting.
