PETERBOROUGH HERITAGE FESTIVAL

Peterborough Festival’s second weekend programme sees the Heritage Festival take over the Cathedral Precincts and Cathedral Square on July 3 – 4. The aim of this weekend is to bring 2,000 years of history to life in the city centre. Expect costumed re-enactors staging arena displays and living history encampments including Roman soldiers, Norman knights, Roundheads and Napoleonic redcoats. It all spills over into the Square where there’ll be World War I and WWII displays including a tank!
