MARRAKECH MAKES ITS MARK

Here’s a first for Peterborough – fresh, authentic Moroccan cuisine from Marrakech restaurant on Lincoln Road, slip inside and you’ll find it difficult to remember you’re still in rainy, cold Peterborough.

Evoking the balmy atmosphere of North Africa and hand cooked by the delightful Nadia, the delicious dishes on the menu include: Loubia & Laadas – beans and lentils in a spicy, Mediterranean-influenced sauce;  Kofta Mashwia – marinated minced lamb kebab, charcoal grilled and Tagine Dajaj, which is chicken cooked in a Tagine, the traditional Moroccan clay cooking pot.

The cosy, 25-cover restaurant has been newly refurbished throughout so take a look – take your own alcohol, as the restaurant is unlicensed.

They’re open Monday – Saturday 11.30am – 3pm then 5pm – 11pm and on Sundays 5pm -10pm.
