LAUREN LIGHTS UP QUEENSGATE!

Queensgate will be switching on their gorgeous Christmas lights on Thursday November 4, with a little help from our new Face of ESP Lauren Hughes!

Lovely Lauren will be on stage with Kev and Ros from Heart’s breakfast show, plus zooming in all the way from his airship in LazyTown, everyone’s favourite acrobatic superhero Sportacus, will be there with his effervescent side-kick, Stephanie.

There’ll be early entertainment from 3pm with a chance to meet the kids’ favourites Sportacus and Stephanie, as they meet and greet children around the centre before helping switch on the lights.

Kev and Ros from Heart FM’s breakfast show will get the party started at 5.30pm by spinning some festive tunes to get everyone in the Christmas spirit.

The big countdown will take place from 6.20pm with the centre being lit up for Christmas at 6.30pm.

Queensgate will look grogeous as the lights are turned ons with a little help from the Peterborough United squad, the Dame from The Key Theatre’s panto Jack and the Beanstalk, along with our Face of ESP, Santa and his elves.

At 6.30pm it’s time for kids to reel off their Christmas wish list as Queensgate’s beautiful Victorian themed Grotto will open allowing children to meet Santa and take home an early present.

To avoid disappointment, visitors will be able to pre-book a time at Santa’s grotto on the centres’ website www.queensgate-shopping.co.uk

Then the big shopathaon begins in the build up to Christmas as the centre is open until 6pm on weeknights throughout November with late night shopping until 8pm each Thursday when there’s free parking after 5.30pm.

During December Queensgate will open until 9pm weeknights, giving visitors even more time to do their festive gift buying.

The festive fun doesn’t stop there; on December 4, 11 and 18 the Salvation Army’s brass band will be in the centre to keep shoppers entertained with classical Christmas tunes.
