Vampire fiction, gothic make-up and art, and other things gothic are on offer at Peterborough’s Central Library on Saturday March 19.
A special ‘Vampire Bites’ event is taking place from 11am to 1pm, suitable for ages 13 plus and adults.
Performing Arts students from Peterborough Regional College will be demonstrating vampire make-up, and acting out extracts from the best of vampire fiction, in costume.
An artist will also be on hand showing people how to create their own Gothic Art.
Elaine Wilkinson, librarian at Vivacity said - “The ‘Twilight’ series started a huge rise in the popularity of vampire and paranormal fiction. There are some great authors writing in this genre, and the event will introduce fans to new series they may enjoy, as well as having fun with gothic art and make-up.”
The event is free and will be held in the teenage section on the ground floor of Central Library. People are welcome to drop in for as long as they want.
