Serpentine Green is getting a visit from two of Peterborough United’s star players during half term.
Children will be able to meet and get autographs from the players on Thursday 16 February between 4pm and 5pm outsideMothercare.
The centre will go football crazy for a couple of hours with a keepyuppy competition with some great prizes donated by Posh.
Serpentine Green retailer GAME will be joining in the fun by hosting a session of FIFA 12 as part of the event, so children can come along and try their hand at beating a professional football.
Our fabulous face painters will be there so kids can even get a Posh face. All the fun takes place outside Mothercare between 3.30 and 5pm.
And the players aren’t the only VIP guests in Serpentine Green that day – children will also be able to meet magical friends Freya and Gumpf the monster as part of a session of puppet play.
Children and adults will love the slapstick comedy of the puppets as they ride around on their funny, furry armchairs.
There will also be a free craft workshop for children to learn how to make sock puppets.
The session will take place between 12.30 and 3pm outside Mothercare.
Chantelle Watson, deputy manager at Serpentine Green told ESP – “We are looking forward to a fun packed day that should keep everyone in the family entertained.”
