ENERGIA ICE SHOW PREVIEW!

Holiday On Ice present their most ambitious show ever, Energia, in Peterborough next month and here at ESP we’ve had a fabulous sneak preview at the show’s launch in Birmingham.

This brand new production from the famous Holiday On Ice team is now touring the UK and is even more spectacular than their previous shows – it was breathtaking. Energia takes you through the story of our universe and is based on the way the universe connects with energy. It features a breathtaking kaleidoscope of colours and movement, not to mention around 40 incredibly talented ice skaters!

You are taken on a fantastical journey accompanied by Ein & Stein two comic skating clowns who witness the awakening of light and energy on Earth. You then join them on a metaphorical trip across the solar system to Mars, Neptune and Venus.

The costumes are stunning as is the huge spaceship that comes down from the stars to take Ein and Stein on their journey of discovery.  It’s a spectacle of grand proportions and you can’t deny the skill and sometimes bravery of the skaters.

The spaceship alone is a huge feat of engineering, dominating the stage, almost completely covering the ice.

The costume changes are many and very inventive -  children will particulalry love the bright colours and the many animal characters portrayed.

This ice show show is for all the family and if you’re a lover of ice dance, it’s the must see of the year, featuring world class skaters from across the globe.

It’ll be at the EXEC Peterborough exhibition centre at the East of England Showground from February 3- 6.

It’s great to see a show of this standard right on our doorstep and whilst we went to Birmingham for the preview you won’t need to travel far at all. It’ll be a night out you won’t forget and if you’re a fan of Skating On Ice this is an ideal show for you!
