Eden hair was the first salon in Peterborough to introduce this new semi-permanent straightening treatment and clients keen to be rid of their frizzy unwanted curls are seeing stunning results.

For once it’s a straightening treatment that actually leaves your hair in better condition as it seals keratin, the hair protein, directly into the hair shaft. It’s literally massaged and blow dried in, section by section and finally sealed with irons.

“Sometimes salons get stuck in a rut,” says salon owner Amanda Quinn, “but I’m keen to take on new ideas and stay ahead. It’s important to bring new advancements to Peterborough – after all, why should people have to travel to London and pay a fortune?”

One of the other great aspects of the Brazilian blow dry is what it can do for people who’ve had chemotherapy. When hair grows back after this treatment it’s often frizzy and a reminder of what they’ve been through, but getting hair back in shape through this process really boosts their confidence. Amanda offers a discount and says it’s already helped patients move on.

At Eden the Brazilian blow dry costs between £75 – £105 depending on hair length and thickness. Katie Stancer (pictured) tried it out and was delighted with her gorgeous sleek new look – “It looks so much healthier,” she told ESP, “I can’t believe it’s me! It’ll take five minutes in the morning now to get ready rather than an hour of straightening.”
