Get your lippy and your trainers on girls it’s time for a night on the town with a difference!
Yes the Midnight Walk for Sue Ryder Care is back and Face of ESP Tori Bradshaw and the ESP girls will be strutting their stuff with hundreds of others on May 1 around Peterborough. Once again ESP Magazine is chuffed to be supporting this fantastic event in the city and the girls can’t wait.
If you can’t make the Peterborough Midnight Walk there are others taking place in March on May 29 and Huntingdon on June 12 – these are both six mile walks while the Peterborough one has a choice of six or ten miles.
Over the last two years the walks have raised over £170,000 and they hope to raise another £100,000 from this year’s event. If they manage to raise £109,000, that will pay for a year’s care for one of their beds at Thorpe Hall Hospice in Peterborough.
Helena Waters from Sue Ryder Care said – “We’re thrilled that Tori’s decided to follow in the footsteps of her predecessors Claire Smith and Susan Saunders as the latest Face of ESP to take part and show her support. We’re really grateful that ESP have continued to support the Midnight Walk and the girls always add a bit of glamour to the evening – even after walking 10 miles!”
The walk starts at Serpentine Green Shopping Centre, the sponsors of the event, and you can join the ESP girls in the warm up before setting off. So come on girls put your name down, put your best foot forward and gather some mates to chat to on the way round – you can do it!
It’s a girls only event but guys are needed to marshal the walk so whether you want to take part or help out call 01733 330060 for details or see www.suerydercare.org/midnightwalks
