CELLAR BAR

There are plenty of reasons to take a trip to The Cellar Bar this month as this intimiate venue beneath the Thorpe Lodge Hotel on Thorpe Road in Peterboorugh continues to build its reputation for live nights and events.

If you haven’t taken a peek already The Cellar Bar is really adding to the local scene and is just a short walk from the city centre. There’s regular entertainment and karaoke sessions as well as live solo artists and open mic nights giving newcomers a chance through to some of the best local bands on the circuit.

A lot of the artists love it because the concerts are very intimate, like playing for a few friends in someone’s sitting room except there’s a bar as well. That’s hard vibe to find at many venues and certainly adds some extra appeal if you like your performers up close and personal.

Live music fans should check out Shane Pool performing solo on October 23rd,  Devil Angel Duetto on October 24 or Five Miles High on October 30.

Party people out for a good night on Halloween can head down there for a special party night with karaoke and disco keeping you entertained on October 31st.
